Saturday and Holiday Behind-the-Wheel
Drivers Training Information

§    Saturday and Holiday behind-the-wheel driving may also sign up in the guidance office on the appropriate clipboard. 
This clipboard will be available only at the following times:
Approximately 7:00 am to the first bell at 7:45 and from 3:15 until the close of the guidance office.
Please print neatly as we will use that information to contact you and set up an appointment. 

• For any questions regarding Saturday and Holiday Driving students and parents should contact the Driver Education office at 610-351-5900, extension # 74410 or email at bortzb@parklandsd.org leaving the appropriate contact information.

¨      The cost of the Behind-the-Wheel driving program is 
$ 50.00. Checks should be made payable to Parkland Driver
 Education and should include the first and last name of your child on the memo line.

¨Parkland's Behind-the-Wheel driving program takes an average of 6 sessions to complete.

§             Each session lasts between 1 to 2 hours including both driving and observation time. During the completion of the curriculum's 15 competencies each student receives the state requirement of 6 hours of instructions.

§        For after-school driving, students will report to room D-133 at the end of the school day and will be dropped off at home at the completion of the lessons.
