Summer Behind-the-Wheel
Drivers Training Information

Summer behind-the-wheel driving signups began
on May 1st.
Students must sign-up in the guidance office on the appropriate clipboard.
Please print neatly as we will use that information to contact you and set up an appointment.
Students will be called during the months of June, July and August to schedule appointments. 
Signups will be on a first come first serve basis.

¨      The cost of the Behind-the-Wheel driving program, (as of June 16, 2008),
is $ 50.00. Checks should be made payable to Parkland Driver
 Education and should include the first and last name of your child on the memo line.

¨     Parkland ’s Behind-the-Wheel driving program takes and average of 8 lessons to complete.

§        Each session lasts between 1 to 2 hours including both driving and observation time. During the completion of the curriculum's 18 lessons each student receives a minimum of 6 hours of instructions, meeting the state requirement.

§        Summer driving students will be picked up and dropped off at home unless other arrangements are made.
