Summer Behind-the-Wheel
Drivers Training Information

Summer behind-the-wheel driving signup's began
on May 1st.
Students must sign-up in the guidance office on the appropriate clipboard.
Please print neatly as we will use that information to contact you and set up an appointment.
Students will be called during the months of June, July and August to schedule appointments. 
Signup's will be on a first come first serve basis.
Please write down and remember the page number listed on the sheet of which you sign.

¨      The cost of the Behind-the-Wheel driving program, (as of June 16, 2008),
is $ 50.00. Checks should be made payable to Parkland Driver
 Education and should include the first and last name of your child on the memo line.

Parkland's Behind-the-Wheel driving program takes an average of 6 sessions to complete.

§        Each session lasts between 1 to 2 hours including both driving and observation time. During the completion of the curriculum's 15 competencies each student receives the state requirement of 6 hours of instructions.

§        For after-school driving, students will report to room D-133 at the end of the school day and will be dropped off at home at the completion of the lessons.
