About the
Contest:
Each year members of the U.S.
House of Representatives join together to recognize the creative
spirit
of American high school students in a nationwide
art competition. The contest, An Artistic Discovery 2004,
is implemented by the members in their districts
and features paintings, drawings, prints, and photography.
Each member
brings a winning entry back to Washington, D.C.
to be displayed in the annual exhibition in a corridor
of the U.S. Capitol
- an area dedicated to the artistic talents of today's youth. |
