Electrical Subsystem The electrical subsystem is primarily responsible for ensuring that the required components receive power and communications. For our ROV we will be using an Otterbox to contain the electronics needed underwater. Nearly all of the functions of the Robot will be controlled through a single PLC, which consists of an operator interface on the surface and a robot controller onboard. Power will be supplied via an onboard battery for all of the subsystems. |
