The Springhouse Middle School Library houses a complete print and non-print research facility and individualized reading program. Geared to address the needs of all of our students, the library includes 40 computers with Internet access, word processing, on-line searching, and a periodical data base. Print periodical holdings, classroom instruction in research skills, and a reading incentive program based on the Accelerated Reader are also highlighted in the library program. Improving reading and research skills and making students life-long readers is the overriding goal of the program. |
